Just equally the title says, the default ripple blitheness is a bit lame, low FPS, and seems to generally slow things down more than it provides anything useful. Whatever clever ideas on how to disable it or supplant it with something that performs a bit ameliorate?

Yous tin try disabling the unlock blitheness in settings, biometrics and security, biometric options.
It does non remove the riple outcome merely makes it much faster to unlock the phone.

At that place doesn't seem to be whatsoever way to remove that nonetheless, I agree it's lame, stutters and gives galaxy S3 vibes when Samsung was obsessed with water.

Merely as the championship says, the default ripple animation is a flake lame, depression FPS, and seems to generally slow things downward more than it provides anything useful. Any clever ideas on how to disable it or supercede it with something that performs a bit ameliorate?

Biometrics and security -> Biometrics preferences -> Screen transition outcome

I also have information technology off, its and so much amend and smoother without it for fingerprint unlocking.

Thank you for your tip, but that does non disable the ripple effect. That just disables the screen transition, which to me is almost imperceptible deviation. Finger scan animation delay appears to be a much more than meaning factor.

I hate it too and wish at that place was an option.

We should write Samsung (Twitter, Electronic mail,..). Possibly they'll listen.

They still oasis't added in the "notification LED" prepare which virtually 85% of people are complaining well-nigh. I don't know why they would focus on allowing users to remove an blitheness.

Has anyone tried increasing the blitheness speed in the developer settings? I adjusted mine a long time agone and I don't discover the ripple outcome that annoying, but to each his own.

Biometrics and security -> Biometrics preferences -> Screen transition event

I also take it off, its so much better and smoother without it for fingerprint unlocking.

Information technology doesn't remove the water waves result.

Hi There,

I'm also looking for a tool to remove the ripple effect on FP unlock.
It is absolutely useless...
