Body Composition

Step 01
Get your Galaxy Watch ready


Put on the Galaxy Watch that's connected to your mobile and check that your profile is set up correctly before measurement.

* Precautions for Measurement:
For better measurement, we recommend measuring under the following conditions.
• Take your measurements at a consistent time of the day. (We recommend measuring in the morning.)
• Measure on an empty stomach.
• Measure after using the bathroom.
• Measure before activities that increase body temperature, such as exercise or sauna.
• Measure after removing metal objects such as necklaces.
• Do not measure when menstruating.

Step 02
Check your posture


1. Raise the arms wearing your Galaxy Watch, and ensure there is enough space between your arms and the rest of your body.
2. Touch the two electrodes on your Galaxy Watch with your fingers.
3. When doing so, make sure that your fingers don't touch your wrist.

Check your results


When the measurement is complete, check your Body composition results. You can track the changes in your data on your mobile.

Step 01
Get your Galaxy Watch ready


Put on the Galaxy Watch that's connected to your mobile and go to Samsung Health app > Settings > Measurement > Blood oxygen during sleep > On.
On your mobile, go to Samsung Health > Sleep > More options > Blood oxygen during sleep > On.

Step 02
Measure your Blood oxygen levels


The Galaxy Watch detects when you fall asleep and automatically measures Blood oxygen levels during sleep. For accurate measurement, wear the Watch 2 to 3 cm above the wrist bone so that the sensor on the back of the watch fits snugly against your skin.

Step 03
Check your results


Check your Blood oxygen level measurements under 'Sleep'.

Snore Detection

Step 01
Set up from mobile


Put on the Galaxy Watch that's connected to your mobile. On your mobile, go to Samsung Health > Sleep > More options > Snore detection > Set to "Always" or "Once".

Step 02
Monitor your Snoring


To monitor your snoring, you must wear your Galaxy Watch while you sleep. When the Watch detects that you are asleep, it records your snoring sounds with the microphone on your mobile when the recording feature is turned on. For best results, place your mobile on a flat surface near your head.

Check your results


Check the measurement results and recorded files in 'Sleep'.
